1. Scope and Data Controller
This Privacy Policy describes how Loop'D Technologies Ltd. ('Loop'D', 'we', 'us') processes and safeguards the personal data of individuals who access our services. For the purposes of the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, 'GDPR'), Loop'D Technologies Ltd., Gotthardstrasse 26, 8002 Zürich, Switzerland, acts as the Data Controller.
2. Categories of Information We Collect
Identity & KYC Credentials: Full legal name, date of birth, residential address, nationality, government-issued identity documents (passport, national ID), biometric facial liveness recordings, and tax identification numbers.
Financial & Transaction Data: Linked bank account numbers (IBAN, routing), credit card tokens, external cryptocurrency wallet addresses, transaction history, portfolio holdings, and distribution records.
Technical Telemetry: IP addresses, browser fingerprint, device hardware descriptors, session logs, and operating system attributes gathered for fraud prevention and account security.
3. Legal Basis and Purpose of Processing
We process personal information under the following legal bases: 1) Performance of our contract to provide marketplace and vault custody services; 2) Compliance with statutory legal obligations under Swiss anti-money laundering regulations (AMLA) and international sanctions directives; 3) Legitimate interests in protecting platform security, preventing wash-trading, and safeguarding custodial assets.
Loop'D never sells, rents, or monetizes member personal data to third-party commercial brokers or advertisers under any circumstances.
4. Data Storage and Swiss Banking Confidentiality
All member identity records and sensitive financial data are hosted within Tier-IV secure datacenters situated in Switzerland and the European Economic Area. Data in transit is protected using TLS 1.3 encryption, and data at rest is encrypted using AES-256-GCM hardware cryptographic modules.
5. Data Retention and Member Rights
Under Swiss financial regulations, records establishing member identity and transaction history must be retained for a statutory minimum period of ten (10) years following the termination of the business relationship.
