What happens when you request delivery of a physical item
The end-to-end redemption journey: identity confirmation, insured armored shipping, customs declaration, and cryptographic token burning on dispatch.
The Four-Step Physical Redemption Process
Every whole token on Loop'D represents a legal entitlement to the physical asset held in our vaults. You can redeem and take physical possession of your item at any time.
Step 1 — Redemption Request: Click 'Redeem / Ship Home' on your asset page or portfolio. Confirm your destination delivery address and select standard or express white-glove courier service.
Step 2 — Security & Identity Check: Our operations desk conducts a secondary biometric or 2FA verification to guarantee against unauthorized redemption. If the asset has a value exceeding $50,000, our custody team contacts you directly to coordinate armored logistics.
Step 3 — Customs & Export Documentation: Our bonded customs agents prepare export clearance paperwork from Zurich, Wilmington, London, or Dubai. Any applicable local import tariffs or duties are calculated and presented transparently prior to shipment.
Step 4 — Dispatch & Token Burn: The physical item is retrieved from its climate vault bay, inspected for condition consistency, and sealed in tamper-evident security packaging. As the package is handed to the courier (Ferrari Group, Malca-Amit, or FedEx Priority Insured), the digital token is permanently burned on the Loop'D Ledger.
